What is Early Intervention?

Early Intervention (EI) is a system of supports and service that helps infants and toddlers who may have a developmental delay or at risk of having a developmental delay. EI assists children with reaching their developmental milestones that usually occur within the first years of life. Not only do they aid in helping the child but they collaborate with the parents on how to incorporate these skills into everyday activities.
